Prior to
the large claymore and better for close range fighting, this sword

Single Handed Sword is patterned after 13th century
originals from the west highlands and the western isles. The wheel
pommel, lobed quillons and short langet are standard for the discovered
pieces. The handle is macassar ebony wood grip with solid brass
