Never has
there been a sword so strongly identified with a people as the
claymore with the Scots. From the early years of the 17th Century
until today, the 1730's Culloden Baskethilt
Broadsword Claymore has been the symbol of the warrior
race of Scotland. Named for the battle where the Scots, armed
with mainly medieval weapons, fought so gallantly against a modern
army. This 1730's Culloden Baskethilt Broadsword Claymore , high
polished, hammered brass or nickel plated steel basket is beautifully
executed with expertly applied grooving and cutouts. Lined with
red velvet cloth, the high carbon India steel blade is properly
tempered and worthy of a proud highlander. Available in a steel
finish or brassfinish.
